Age Concern

Benefits for the over 60s go up in April. Do you know your rights? If your weekly income is below £98.15 for a single person or £149.80 for a couple and your savings are below £12000 then you are entitled to have your pension payments increased to this amount. Even if your savings are above £12000 but still below £16000, you my still be eligible for housing benefit and council tax benefit. If you failed to qualify on a previous occasion, why not let us check your entitlements again? This time you may well succeed but you will never know unless you check. Age Concern gives confidential advice on this and many other subjects of help to older people. Your local field advisor is: Bill Raddings, Garden End, Courtington Lane, Bloxham, Oxon OX15 4PR,
01295 720981.
